Danisco in Biotec 2002 event in Helsinki
At stand B23 on the Biotec 2002 exhibition in Helsinki, Danisco presents ingredients with proven physiological functions as well as Enteromix® which is a branded research technology for documenting physiological functions of ingredients.

The ingredients include Howaru™ probiotics, which are live bifidobacteria and lactobacilli with beneficial effects on gastrointestinal health. A prebiotic is also displayed on the exhibition: Litesse® which is a polysaccharide, partially fermented by the colon bacteria. Litesse® is especially good as a prebiotic, because fermentation is sustained throughout the colon, thus inhibiting effectively harmful protein degradation by colon bacteria.
