Chile's leading dairy processor chooses HOWARU™
The Chilean dairy processor, Soprole, has gained exclusive rights in Chile to the use of Danisco's probiotic strain HOWARU™ Rhamnosus in its "uno al día" health drink.

The probiotic strain, HOWARU™ Rhamnosus, is a health-promoting culture, which enhances gastro-intestinal health by strengthening the immune system. The "uno al día" (one a day) concept was designed to benefit consumer health by a recommended daily intake of one health drink. Soprole's beverages are labelled: "HOWARU™ is a registered trademark of Danisco". This is the second time Danisco launches an ingredient product directly to the consumer - the first time being the recent agreement with Woolworths in South Africa, which launched their new dairy range based on a wide range of promotional activities for HOWARU™.

A series of marketing activities have been launched in Chile to promote "uno al día" with HOWARU™ Rhamnosus, among these in-store promotion and a scientific convention on probiotic strains.
